Please read all instructions for this chassis install. If you do not wish to install yourself, I recommend finding an installer to do this for you, as this may be a difficult build for some depending on your skill level.
3D printed in PLA+ filament. Printed in 5 different pieces.
This listing includes all 5 chassis parts, one tactile switch, one set of battery contacts, and the chassis PCB set(unassembled), required for this build.
This chassis can separate into three different sections.
The upper part can be removed from the emitter and taken out to access the removable battery. It is aligned with the red switch actuator and must be inserted from the top of the emitter. This part will hold itself in place while you screw back on the emitter to the main body.
The middle piece which holds the soundboard, inserts from the open side of the grip section of the hilt, the shroud must be removed or rotated to the side to insert this piece. This chassis piece slides into the emitter space above the grip section, and connects to the emitter chassis piece, via the chassis PCB set. You must use the retention screw to tighten both chassis parts to secure properly into place. This also prevents the emitter chassis piece from moving upwards.
When soldering your wires to your board, you may need to use the top side of the board due to limited install space, please make sure to practice proper wire management to avoid unnecessary shorts or bridges. It is also recommending you insulate the pins of the chassis PCB set to avoid making any contact with the inside of the hilt. Failure to do so may result in a short and damage your components.
The third chassis part holds the killswitch(optional), and pins for the SCW Type 1 Speaker PCB set. This piece is inserted from the pommel end. You can leave some extra length for your wires and tuck them inside the extra space in the hilt.
The fourth part is for the 28mm bass speaker, and other speaker PCB piece.
The fifth part is a spacer ring which press fits into the bottom of the pommel. This prevents the speaker from making contact with the pommel.
