Chargers/Charge Ports

This is the style of recharge port that lightsaber builders have been using for years.
Not all recharge ports are created equally.
This port is from the brand Switch Craft which as an industry trusted brand for reliability and performance.

This port comes with 2 nuts and washer to secure it in your saber. You can use either or nut, or both.
It comes with standard hex nut and also a very galaxy far away looking knurled nut.
The newer version actually come in red which the manufacture started doing to signifying a high quality part

Please do not leave charging lithium ion batteries unsupervised for long periods of time.
Always unplug your charger when not in use.

This is a great recharge port for builds where space is tight.
Accepts a 1.3mm barrel plug for charging.( may require an adapter for most chargers)

Can be wired up to the battery as a "recharge port" using the USB-C connection. Please see the wiring diagram for proper wiring directions.

Recharge port adapter for 1.3mm recharge ports, common for compact lightsaber builds.
Male socket end is 1.3mm and female socket end is 2.1mm, which is most common size for most standard chargers.

Handy adapter cable for micro USB ports, commonly found on CFX and Proffie boards. These include a micro USB to USB port adapter, with a 30cm long ribbon cable. 
Easily plug this in to those hard to reach areas and tight spaces in your installs for USB board access. 
Will come assembled, however you can add some heatshrink to the connection points for added security and protection. 
This is not used for any sort of charging, this is a data transfer cable only.

If you have a Golden Harvest v3, you can use the Seedling USB Module for microUSB charging and file transfer. But even if you do not own a Golden Harvest v3, you can use it to charge a single Li-ion cell via microUSB. Using the Seedling USB Module you can charge a single Li-ion cell with up to 1.4A either via wall adapter or USB port of your computer. A smart charging algorithm automatically detects the maximum charging current your power source can provide and limits it to this amount. The Seedling USB Module contains a safe charging circuit. However, do not let your saber charge unsupervised! Safety always first! Please make also sure to use a protected 18650 Li-ion battery. For safe charging, use a Keeppower 18650 Li-ion battery. The Seedling USB Module can get very hot when you are charging at 1.4A due to its tiny dimensions (smaller than 11 mm x 19 mm / 0.433″ x 0.748″). It has an overtemperature protection, but please make sure that the environment in which you want to use it can handle high temperatures. 3D printed adapter for USB Type C ports also sold here at Saberbay. Adapter is printed in black PLA + filament and not compatible with non USB-C ports. Made to fit in standard 12mm switch holes found on most saber hilts.

Can be purchased separately or with an included USB-C Port. In conjunction these parts can be used as an external access point for data transfer with your soundboard, or used together will a TC4056 charging module and male micro USB adapter(see wiring diagram for examples)

Adapter can snugly fit the USB-C port and is inserted from the top, with room below to solder wires onto afterwards. It is recommended to use a very small amount of glue to secure the port on the inside so it does not get pulled out with the cable after use.

Includes the recharge port and securing lock ring if you wish to use it. 
The port takes a 2.1mm male socket, please make sure your charger is the correct size and rating before purchasing/using.

Actual size of largest part of the recharge port is approximately 14mm, threaded part of the recharge port is 12mm.

A custom 3D printed design from Jimmy's Saber Junk. This can be used as a portable charger with spring loaded battery contacts(included with physical prints, option 1 in the store), with a built in SwitchCraft 2.1mm recharge port used for charging. Recharge port is included.
The recharge port must be installed into the charger in order to charge your battery. Please refer to a recharge port wiring diagram for how to wire your battery contact leads.
